Whiteness surrounds you, and you're covered in blood,
The crowd looks on, and you cry,
cry,
cry,
Cut from the world you knew,
and removed from the things that gave you life,
This moment will slowly drive away all sanity...

The first day, you've made it here,
The colored walls seem somewhat familliar,
and the bright faces blindly ignorant to the truth,
This is the place,
The one true place that will make you complacent,
The one true place where you lose all control,
The one true place where everyone is the same,
and everyone hates you, like you hate them...

The last day, and thank god,
The blank walls look boring to you,
and the sullen faces just reflect your own,
This IS the place,
The place that held you captive for so long,
The place where you've become one of them,
The place where you've destroyed what was you,
and replaced it with an ox...

You made it, this is it,
The room where everything happens,
Where you finally become one with yourself,
and everyone watches like before,
This is the place, the life,
The life that continues on,
The life that starts anew,
The life that binds together,
and lives forever...

White walls reflecting over,
Suspense leading into your eyes,
Blood everywhere, just like before,
You watch as you are born again,
and your life really changes this time...

Set in a room of candles and sobs,
Your life is broken again,
Your heart will never repair,
A day to be remembered,
and swiftly forgotten,
by everyone else but you,
until...

Trapped in a box of velvet and gold,
Your heart cries out, but it's no longer heard,
Sobs fill your nonexistant ears,
and your body is thrust into the ground,
Just like everyone elses,
Just like everyone elses...

The rooms that fill your lives are forever,
and longing in your eyes to return are evident,
The heart will always beat onward,
Even when the body dies, and the soul leaves it's cage.
A bit long and serious for me right?

Wow that's really deep, a nice poem that makes you think, and figure out how everything is connected and resembled in the poem. Very well done! The repetition was very well placed, and There were a few minor odd sounding sentences/words(the ox?), but over all, a lovely poem. I could easily see this turning into a good song, actually, if the right rhythms are incorporated. I just really love this piece! I am so glad you posted this, and i hope to see more from you sometime. I'll be watching! ;)
